DIFFERENCES
There are differences of right and wrong we know,
Good and evil around us always seems to show,
The goodies and baddies, sheriffs and the bandits,
Saints and sinners which of the lists each does fit.
I think I could keep with quite a few more to share,
Being truly honest or a crook fits quite well there,
Now comes the thing that’s hard for all of us to say
Are we always on the righteous side all along the way?
Let us stop and think about it for a moment or two
And let us answer ourselves and be honest and true,
Are we as good as we can be or do we sometimes stray?
So let’s never condemn another for one day we may pay.
