More Requested poems about Rain.

RAIN ON MY FACE
On a hot summer’s day I like to feel rain on my face,
Get soaked through, don’t care if I look a disgrace
Even splash in every puddle as I walk along that day,
Then feel the humidity drop for awhile away to stay.

Sit in a chair in the back yard watch the birds at play
Taking baths and splashing then shaking the water away,
Just to line up and jump in the puddles once more,
I know the birds will feel better and be clean for sure.

I am waiting for the heavy to come to give some relief
Before the crops and gardens come to some great grief,
Watch the grass turn green and the head of each flower
Look up as they drink in the rain of the needed shower.
