SOME DAYS
Some days, even though it is raining, you feel full of life,
No matter what happens , even through trouble and strife,
You feel as though you could jump for joy and sweet love,
Want to give praises to our Father in heaven up above.
And when the sun sheds her warm, golden rays all around
It seems that the goodness of life will soon over-bound
The normal sphere of things and you want to shout and sing
To give thanks with great rejoicing for every living thing.
At all times I feel each heart should swell with adoration
And never cease to offer up to God our simple oblation,
Sing hymns and psalms that reach above the earthly sky,
That we may praise Him, let Him hear each heartfelt sigh.
