        SEEKING TO STUDY
Last night in bed I was thinking of study time
And wondered what to learn, for I feel it a crime
To let the mind go stagnant and just rust away
And the thought of the letter S came to stay.

I have never studied in this manner to seek
Or study and let sweet sensations sneak,
For S is a letter that shows you salvation,
Selection, stamina, surety and stimulation .

Sweet songs and symphonies and serenades to sing,
The joy of sweet scents that subtle winds can bring,
Sweet solitude and serenity when the Savour is near,
A sure sign that His love sinks deep and stops all fear.

On the other hand there is sickness, sorrow and sin,
Again the Saviour’s love saves us with the strength to win,
Suffering, sacrifice and service seem to be rolled into one
As S serves silently, as all small kindnesses should be done.

Sanctification can be sought for if we do not slumber or sleep,
And if self satisfaction is stopped and help others solace keep.
Seek out and study about the great and substantial dear letter S,
And find more growing words to bring you salvations success.
