FUNNY LITTLE SAYINGS
When we lived in England many years ago
We had a funny saying that amuses folks so,
Commercials we called ‘Omo’s! That’s right,
Over here that soap powder never came in sight
But nearly every break on the TV or the radio
They advertized Omo and the cleanest way to go,
So we did things really fast through all the Omo’s
So as not to miss any of our family favourite shows.
Now even after forty years ‘Omo’s’ still slips out
And we get funny looks if other people are about,
And is shorter than commercials or advertisements
There is also tied there some deep down sentiments
