HIS WAYS
It sometimes is strange how prayers are
answered each day,
You pray for a loved one to be protected
in a special way,
But the Lord works things out, so everything
is quite alright,
But not the way you expected for He has
such deep insight
To our needs even before we stop to say
a fervent prayer,
It is always good to know He is close to
us with His care.
As you serve and do your best in any
way you can,
Work out what to do to help fulfill the great
and glorious plan,
He is there beside His hands outstretched,
full of love,
Nodding His approval as you work toward
heaven above.
A prayer for strength to carry on or at least
to have a rest,
That prayer is heard so clear by Him and
that small request
Is granted in ways that we cannot really
quite understand.
But yes, prayers are answered even if not
the way we planned.
His ways are not our ways but we know
He knows best,
Yes fervent prayer is answered he ignores
no humble request.
