FOREVER KIND OF LOVE
I wonder if you will ever know how much you mean to me,
How much your loving heals me and helps set me all free
From long ago hurt and misery and now more fresh pain,
It is you dear friends that can help me live and smile again.

You are my source of strength, my inspiration and hope,
Hearing you once again has helped me begin at last to cope,
You are my encouragement and are deep and eternal friends
The kind of special love that I know will never ever end.

Thank you for your caring, for your unconditional love,
For your understanding, showing a glimpse of heaven above.
You have the kind of life I long for and has passed me by,
But you so freely share yourselves without a single sigh.

Soon we will be together and we can have a big group hug,
Kneel in family prayer together on your livingroom warm rug,
Share a meal together just like when I came as a small child
Before I wandered off and turned from right to being wild.

But you do not condemn me or turn your faces the other way,
But stretch out your arms in love and with you ask me to stay.
God bless you and protect you for all that for me you do,
And if I stay worthy, I know we’ll be friends eternity through.
