A RAY OF SUNSHINE
I need to be a ray of sunshine although
I dont feel well,
Try and be cheerful to help my feeling
start to swell,
For there are many who are worse off all
around I see,
So I should be a ray of sunshine cheery
as can be.
I need to show God loves me with a happy
kind of smile
To help others with their own misfortunes
and each trail,
Try and let my light shine bright, not let
it grow dim,
Be a good example and be happy and
never give in.
No one likes a frowning face, remember that
childhood song?
Smile whatever happens that in the happy
group belong.
Sunshine rays are needed along lifes
treacherous way,
So I hope a smile or two will lighten my
path today.
