SITTING READING
Sitting reading the newspaper, there
in perfect grace,
With a serene expression on that
very pretty face.
The beautiful chair seemed to meld
into her form,
With her delicate feet placed on
a cushion so warm.
So content and restful at the end
of the day,
Is she waiting for her husband to come
At the end of the day?
