SEEKING
Gathering information, gleaning tid-bits
here and there,
Trying to find truth and knowledge
almost everywhere.
Little by little with great effort as you
continually seek,
Gleaning I can assure you is for those who
are weak.
The old fashioned gleaners, the poor trying
to gather grain,
Found it hard work and I am sure a great
deal of pain.
But when a loaf of bread they smelt cooking
ready to eat,
Their weariness departed as the benefits
they did reap.
Gleaning through the scriptures and glorious
truth find,
Increasing your knowledge and lighting a
darkening mind,
Is like a beam of sunshine of a person weary
and all worn,
For gleaning truth and light is why we
were all born.
Seek and find truth and light as we just
glean every day
And the brightness of Gods kingdom will
surly come our way.
