More poems about Temple Attendance

        RETURNING TO THE TEMPLE
It has been far too long since to the temple we went,
Too sick to go for awhile, so this visit was heaven sent,
Even entering through the doors peace came our way,
And for one endowment session we were able to stay.

Friendly faces of the workers, members of our ward,
A feeling of tranquillity filled us with sweet accord.
Knowledge flowing freely sent from heaven above,
Resting in His strong arms being filled with His love.

The mind became more clear, sweet peace was there,
All over the building a feeling of divinity everywhere.
Healing waves spread over us as we tried to serve,
A great blessing given, more than we ever deserve.

Returning to the temple when sickness keeps you away
Is almost like the beginning of a new millennial day,
A remembrance that all His promises are forever sure,
Inside the walls of the temple when are hearts are pure.
