A DOLLAR BAG OF
PEANUTS
If you have a nice back garden of any
size at all,
In early of December or when the snow
begins to fall,
Go and buy a bag of peanuts and spread
them around,
And you will be surprised how much joy
will be found.
We have done this nearly the long whole
year through,
Feeding the squirrels and watching the antics
they get up to.
After awhile they get quite tame come and
knock on the door.
Black and grey are common but we have a
pair of small red
That have the speed of lightening after they
have been fed.
The peanuts also helps stop them eating
the birds seed,
At least for a little while we managed quite well
to succeed.
We watch them feed and play tag and then hide
some nuts away,
But others finding seems part of the special game
they play.
Go buy a bag of peanuts along with a bag of
bird seed,
Sit by the window awhile and watch as you see
other friends feed.
