LOOKING THROUGH THE WINDOW
When looking through the window from my hospital bed,
I worked out the directions and then light was shed,
I was looking north, the horizon distant quite clear
And there to my joy the temple spire did appear.
There far away like a finger pointing to the sky above
Was the temple, the sight filled my life with love,
Unable to attend, but there in the distance I could see
The House of the Lord, as if it were taking care of me.
Then came the night and lights were about everywhere
And when I saw the temple a different glow was there,
Ethereal in its beauty, a beacon shining bright,
A feeling of comfort and love filled me with delight
