CRYSTAL VASE
If you owned a crystal vase of exquisite beauty,
Deeply cut with patterns so delicate to see,
Worth a small fortune, a prize beyond compare,
And in the sun it sparkled and glittered truly fair.
A chosen vessel of pure beauty a joy for all to see,
Dont you think you would treat it almost reverently?
Place it in a spot where light on it may often glow
So its graceful shape and true worth forever show.
You would keep it clean to sparkle brighter still,
Place it up on a shelf or on your nice windowsill,
Sometimes choose the fairest flowers there to place
To show even more its loveliness and sweet grace.
You would not fill with dirt, worms or creepy things,
Or put it in the rubbish dump or a place that evil brings.
Now we are more important than a priceless crystal fair
For we are Gods children, each one of us His heir.
We are temples wherein the spirit may forever dwell,
We should stay free from sin and dirt, in beauty swell,
Be like a crystal vase glittering in beauty clear and bright,
A worthy vessel where Gods wisdom glows in pure light.
