SWEET FALL
Sweet fall has put on her brightest
summer dress,
So pleasant and warm, perfect weather
I must confess,
New buds bloom on the flowers left
all around,
A new burst of life all things seemed
to have found.
Birds cease to gather together to fly,
fly far away,
Scoffing at the others who left on an
earlier day,
Summer breezes waft off the warm
blue lake,
Summer breezes blow in the trees, sweet
whisperings make.
The sun has not weakened, she shines bright
up above
Wanting to bestow on all her kindness, warmth
and sweet love.
How long fall will allow her to dwell late I
do not know,
But as for me I really do not want to see her
yet to go.
