        THE TEMPLE IS A HAVEN
The temple is a haven, a shelter from the trials of life,
For you can leave on the doorstep all trouble and strife,
Enter and feel whole, let heavens sweet blessings flow,
And His peace will fill you, your love for Him will grow.

The temple is a haven when your heart with sorrow does break,
Of the healing balm of Gilead you can deeply and freely partake ,
You will feel His arms embrace you as you serve Him there,
And of that wonderful eternal love you will be truly aware.

The temple is a haven when problems in your mind abound,
In this holy place a comforting calm can always be found,
Feel it as you enter, feel it as you quietly meditate or pray,
You will hear words of wisdom so sweetly come your way.

Oh yes, the temple is a haven, a taste of heaven here below,
A wonderful place where all true saints often want to go,
A safe harbour, a refuge from life’s tossing stormy sea,
A place of healing and comfort, where love always flows free.
