More poems about Trials

        HOWEVER HARD THE BATTLE
However hard the battle, how ever steep the way,
Together we will win, be victorious one day,
Holding to the rod, striving to serve while we can,
Loving the gospel, learning more of His great plan.

Hand in hand we’ll overcome, for He is on our side,
Putting our trust in Him, our love of Him never hide,
If we can let our light shine as in hardship we tread,
We may help others and feel His bright light shed.

When clouds of pain depart, a silver lining is seen,
Or the brightest rainbow where harsh storms had been,
Tells us that He cares, and the refining is nearly done,
And one way or another that battle we have won.

While the path of life is before us our love will be
As strong and enduring as the great pounding sea,
A love forged in heartache and joy beyond compare,
A love that will last forever in heaven sweet and fair.
