GIFT FROM A FRIEND
Thank you dear friend for the roses fair,
You should see them arranged there
On the table, a wonderful sight to see,
Full of fragrance and of special beauty.
Thank you for your friendship strong,
And for helping my heart sing a song
Of happy rejoicing for a friendship true,
For of all the years of getting to know you.
You are indeed a priceless gem on the earth,
A daughter of God, who is of great worth,
For your gospel light shines like a bright ray,
Becoming more like the Master every day.
May our friendship last this whole life through
Then on for eternity, for this friendship is true,
May the Lord bless you for your kind loving heart,
And one day be togther in His presence never to part.
