More poems about Trials

BURDENS
Sometimes burdens seem heavy, shoulders bent low,
Yet upward and onward we still need to try and go,
But a comforting hand is there to help along the way,
Knowing that trials strengthen us though every day.
For there are days of joy then the hardships are gone,
Like a wonderful reward when a battle you have won,
The heartache and the burdens that we all have to bear,
Help us in part to understand of Jesus suffering out there
In the garden of Gethsemane and on the cross so cruel,
Yet accepting it rejoicing, still following the golden rule .
No matter what may happen, no matter what may befall,
I will strive to be cheerful, always obey His every call.
