More poems about Summer

SUMMER’S END
Summer seems to be ending before it has
really begun,
We have been quite busy, not much time for
summer fun,
There have been days when the sun has been
very far away.
Too much rain and cool winds for long stretches
came to stay.
A few glorious days but nowhere near enough for
me this year,
Some days with little humidity and warm sun
very near.
But now August is drawing to it’s close September
still to come
Maybe some nice late summer days with a lovely
gentle sun,
I love summer days with hot weather and a
gentle breeze
And love to listen to the song it sings among the
gusty trees.
