BABY BLANKET
A blanket for the new baby worked on with love,
Ready for the little one coming from heaven above,
Another precious gift given to this wonderful family,
One we know are striving to be together for eternity.
A blanket is a symbol of warmth, love and security,
A protection and so of all harm the child be free,
Wrapping the little one in love and caring strong,
A way of welcoming the stranger into the happy throng.
Placed on the crib to keep love in and coldness far away
Bright and cheerful colours, white and yellow as if to say,
Welcome ray of sunshine so pure right from God above
Welcome to our home that is filled with eternal love.
