GOING ON THE GO TRAIN
I am glad we have the GO train running close by,
It can carry you down town in the twinkling of an eye,
You avoid all the traffic don’t have to try and park,
In fact driving on a double decker train is quite a lark.

You gaze down at the crawling traffic as you sail along,
Glad you are not stuck in the massive traffic throng,
You can look over to the lake without a single care,
See pretty scenery not worrying other drivers that swear.

It is not too expensive to travel along that safe way,
If going to a big event it saves the fight and fray,
You get there relaxed and have peace of mind,
You haven’t looked for hours and no parking find.

Most times that we go to great down town Toronto,
On the pleasant GO train we always strive to go,
Off to the Home Show, X or a Blue Jays game,
To travel that way will always be our main aim.

Even to go shopping or just to wander around,
A better way to get there I have not yet found,
Don’t travel in rush hour or you’ll be a sardine,
But that’s better that traffic jams that are seen.
