More poems about home

HOME SWEET HOME
there is an old, old saying
That is in the heart of me,
Home, sweet home is like praying
For the Lord to come through the door.
For home is a wondrous word,
Full of safety, hope and love.
It is a place where music is heard,
Played in harmony with chords of joy.
For home is a haven, a sanctuary serene,
For it holds the balm of Gilead,
E resting place, wherever you have been
In this world so beautiful and wide.
For home should be a part of heaven here,
Our shelter from the storms of life.
Out home sweet home where all hear
Only loving thoughtful kindly words.
