RUN AND FINISH
Run the race of life the very best you can,
Fulfill what God wants, follow His plan.
The road isn’t easy, if you falter, do not fail,
Keep on trying till you complete the trail.

Our best, if we do not accomplish all
We set out, is not enough therefore we fall,
With God’s help the impossible we can fulfill,
Listen to His voice, graciously obey His will.

There is a crown of glory waiting up above
For those who finish the race in His love,
Stop and think what might have been if we fail,
Not continue along life’s harsh, trying trail.

Sad words of might have been do not belong,
If you falter, get up and sing a triumphal song,
Face the race with fortitude, know He is there,
The best way to succeed is through constant prayer.
