More poems about Teaching

WE MAY NEVER KNOW
We may never know the impact we ever had
On the many people we meet each day for bad
Or good, but there will come that great day
Of reckoning, when judgement comes our way.

Do we sow seeds of happiness or discontent
As on our life’s journey we are heaven bent?
Or do we carry on not caring what we do,
Selfish and thoughtless our whole life through.

You maybe in the right place to help someone,
Sent there by the Master that work to be done,
Was that person saved or did he suffer more
Did we do our part, think on this , I do implore.

We are placed on earth together to help others
Along, entwined in humanity, each is a brother
Or sister, when we come to pass to the other side,
Before the Master will we our faces want to hide?

I promise I’ll try to be an impact for good each day,
Help someone feel His love along life’s rough way,
Be that hand of friendship, be a guiding bright light,
Help just one right to choose to keep heaven in sight.
