MY NEW CAMERA
I bought a camera for $4.77 just over
$5.00 with tax,
I wonder if it will work, we will soon
find out the facts,
As the first film comes out and is
then sent away,
We will see what sort of photos will
come our way.
My friend has a camera and it cost
many hundreds of dollars,
And if some picture don’t turn out
she hollers !
I can’t wait to show her my pictures,
if they turn out,
I am sure if she knew how little I paid
she would loudly shout.
I’ll write another poem when my first
pictures come through,
But at the moment we are all left dangling,
that’s all we can do.
