AN EAGLE GLIDING
An eagle gliding
on motionless wings
Hears way below
the message each bird sings,
Unnoticed, dark
against the clouding sky,
He constantly
gazes as time goes by.
Still, carried
on the winds turbulence
He spots something
move with his piercing glance,
A dive, a swoop,
now some creature is caught
In the vice-like claws,
look family, what I have brought.
