LOOKING
Looking for a home so we can get out of debt,
It will be out of the big city, that we wont regret,
Yet we love where we are, the home is just right,
But it would be good to see all the stars at night.
Move to where the forests are thick, dense and green,
Where deer, moose and caribou are very often seen,
A rustic home nestled quietly by a small sweet lake,
Yes, I could give up the city and those treasures take.
We would have to move farther than each weekend place,
For those homes still expensive and life still a fast pace,
Where the best in nature by man has been scared away,
Although most of the great beauty is there to always stay.
We have seen a lovely place, a restaurant it used to be,
It is in a perfect spot by a sparkling lake of great beauty,
Its all alone and empty, it needs someones tender care,
We will find out who owns it and why it all alone out there.
I know the Lord will tell us if thats what we should do,
Find a home that will bless us until our journey is through,
A place so very special that the one who is left behind
That they will be happy and have true peace of mind.
