SONNET NO 94 - UNWANTED RAIN
Journeys seen long when taken in the rain,
Everything dank and dreary all the way,
The beauty of nature hidden away,
Mists hide the beauty to see is in vain.
Grazing dismal cattle seem drenched in pain,
Wanting the sweet sun to come out that day,
But the pregnant rain clouds, they want to stay,
No sign now the sun will come here again.
Branches hang heavy as if to proclaim
Go rain! Come breeze, make our mighty trunks sway
Then let us feel the warms sun warming ray,
For with too much rain life is not the same.
So if through rain you travel be aware,
That sometimes nature for rain does not care.
