A WONDERFUL DAY
With a delightful summer sun,
How well a new day has begun,
No rain today in sight they say,
See how gently the trees sway?
Just a white cloud or two up high,
In such a serene, vivid blue sky,
Birds sing sweetly, no longer sad,
None sang in all the rain we had.
Welcome wonderful sunny day,
Now you are here, please do stay,
At last we can have sandled feet,
Such a wonderful summer treat.
