More poems about the Months

LONGING
I can remember longing for sweet
warm summer days,
When the gentle breezes would
waft the morning haze
Lovingly from the lake up to join
the bright blue sky,
Those days are almost here as
dear June draws nigh.
May is now in all her glory with
blossoms everywhere,
This is much more than I expected
from that winter prayer,
Then I stopped to think as many
blessings come my way,
How much the Lord loves us and sends
simple gifts each day.
