More poems about Temple Attendance

THE FAINT HEARTED
It is far too cold and snowy to visit the temple,
even just a little distance away,
It would be very treacherous right now,
so we’ll wait for a better day.
We may get stuck on the highway, we may not
get home again tonight,
Then what would we do? We would be
in a terrible plight.
In the spring the rain is far too heavy, we
could aquaplane everywhere.
Then we may not make it safely to the temple,
and we must be aware
Of all the dangers that can cause, many
accidents each wet day,
I’d better not go when its raining or disaster
may somehow come our way.
I don’t like being indoors when it’s sunny,
there’s outside work to do,
It has to be done while the weather is nice
and before spring is through.
Yet I will find time the near by temple
and attend there quite soon,
I am sure that in my busy schedule I
will find a little room.
