More poems about Temple Feelings

SWEET CALM AND SERENITY
Is there a nicer spot to wait upon the Lord
Than in the Holy Temple, learn more of His word?
For here there is sweet serenity and calming peace,
Where the joys of eternity fill us and never seem to cease.

The serenity one feels flows like a holy healing balm,
It fills a troubles heart with a restful quieting calm,
Like the touch of the Master hand to heal within,
Body, spirit and mind can rest away from earths din.

When that sweet calm and serenity flow quiet free,
We can learn of the things needed to be always ready
For the call that may come, then sweet heaven gain,
Come to the temple to have knowledge, be free from pain.

Through a symbolic feast, just like Jesus did of old,
We can learn what is needed to return to heavens fold,
To be endowed from on high with blessing from above,
Bestowedh upon us gradually from a loving Father with love.

Cast away your worries, leave them at His holy feet,
And you will feel the burden lightened as your greet
A new day, for He will be there beside you all the way,
If to the temple promises made you constantly stay.
