        SATURDAY WITH ITCHY FEET
It is Saturday once again and I want to do something nice,
Something exciting and different without a hefty price,
But as is it Saturday after good weather all week I hear rain,
So doing things in the garden or in a park is out, that a pain.

Maybe it will clear and to some garage sales we’ll go
At least in the middle of May we should not get snow.
Wait a moment, a ray of sun has just come through,
So maybe outside activities we may be able to do.

If we went to Canada’s Wonderland we would be broke,
And if it does rain why should we pay for a good soak,
I want to do something more than stay home and clean,
Go to somewhere inexpensive that I have not yet seen.

Too far away it cannot be for gas has shot up sky high,
Walking to the park and Rattray Marsh and pass by
Many lovely gardens may do, all are glorious to see,
But I want something really exciting to fascinate me.

I think I’ll walk around the block some treasure to find,
There has to be a garage sale there, then make up my mind
Of what to do for the rest of the day to ease my itchy feet,
Off to Niagara Falls, all that power and more beauty to greet.
