More poems about Missions
ANOTHER MISSION
We may be serving another mission,
this time staying at home,
Just around our own Stakes mission area
No farther to roam.
We have to promise to do about thirty
two hours a week,
With still serving two days at the temple
hope our sanity we keep.
Working in the employment centre trying
to do our fair share.
Helping many people to find work and
for them, be there.
A different kind of mission, yet still
serving in some way,
Helping to bring hope and meaning to
someones life each day.
Another new program for missionary work
is taking off all round,
Doing family history for investigators so Elijahs
power may be found
And planted in the hearts of more folks everywhere
this should help the work grow,
Spreading the gospel through family history is
a great way to go.
We hope our health will hold and time
be on our side
For the excitement of this mission we find
it quite hard to hide,
Although we will have to plan each moment
of every single day,
But with the fun of the mission we will have
no need to stop and play.
