TRAFFIC
There seems to be an increase in the traffic these days,
Even after rush hour too many vehicles are in your way,
From light to light, bumper to bumper we all have to go,
You have no option but to drive just a little too slow.

Even on the freeways that traffic is as heavy as can be,
Population explosion, the explanation that’s clear to me,
But that does not explain the extra trucks everywhere,
Both Saturday and Sunday they are around here and there.

Blame it on logistics, the act of getting things all about,
It’s enough to drive you crazy makes you want to shout,
But now the price of gas has escalated much too high,
We may get less traffic and see more people walking by.

Yet at almost ninety cents a litre the roads are busy still,
I wonder what would happen if we all refused to fill
The cars and trucks up, stay home for a day or two,
I bet te price of Gas would reduce fast, don’t you?
