CARING
Do you hear the anguish that is in the world today,
Feel all the pain and sorrow that long may stay
In someone’s life, someone who may need a friend,
Someone who may be along at their journey’s end?

Do we care for others at all, if all with us is well?
Heartless bystanders with a some sad story to tell,
That is not my problem ,let someone else care,
For I have my own troubles and problems to bare.

If that is the case, I will willingly tell to you
That if you help others your own trials will subdue,
Trust me, and try it the next time you feel quite down,
If you lend a helping hand a smile will remove a frown.

Songs of joy will fill your heart that was once quite sad
And as you help others, a good day you will have had.
So when trials pile upon you and the weight is hard to bear
Seek out someone worse off and show them you really care.
