More poems about Thoughts on Life

IT DOES NOT TAKE A LOT
It maybe just the wave of a hand or a happy smile,
Taking time to stop and chat even for a little while,
Bring aware of the needs of relatives and friends,
Finding the right words of sweet greeting to send.

It does not lake a lot a little kindness to share,
Even it means for the lonely just being there,
Do a kind deed in secret so no one will know,
You’ll be surprised how well the day will go.

Kindness and courtesy would save some road rage,
Which unfortunately is prevalent in this day and age,
Let a truck go in front of you, let in a trapped car,
I am sure that kindness may spread near and far.

Kind words softly spoken can help send anger away,
We should stop and think before words we may say,
Cruel words that could make a soft, tender heart sting,
Where kind words can true comfort and healing bring.

Let kindness every day be associated with our name,
Bring rays of sunshine to others, not ice cold rain,
Kindness is free and it takes much less effort to smile,
Show kindness each day and so make life worthwhile.
