More poems about the Sky

        A VISION OF BEAUTY
The sun arose in glory, breathtaking to see,
Heralding new beginnings with great beauty,
I stopped and watch the scene grow in grace,
The sky showed visions of heavenly space.

Clouds were kissed with colours I did not know,
A spectacular vision did that scene to me show,
From deep crimsons to delicate shades so bright
That danced in the sky before the sun came in sight.

Then she came, a blaze of vibrant, shimmering red,
How my deeper, inner soul was spiritually well fed,
Sorrow and hurt were swept away as this vision I saw,
What else could I do but my kind, loving God adore .

Time passes and that sunrise stays bright in my mind,
I often contemplate, in this world, the beauty that I find,
I am sure we are given glimpses of Paradise if we gaze
At the beauty before us that makes my heart ring with praise.
