More poems about Computer Humour

MY MESSY DESK
I must admit my desk is a disgrace,
Things are littered all over the place,
A half empty pen pot, papers galore,
A cable, I don’t know what it’s for.
Spare glasses and a candle for light
For emergency lighting quite bright.
A dictionary, thesaurus, needed by me,
Ear phones, some lace, a watch as well,
An old journal, old calendars that fell
From the wall but give ideas for poems,
Unanswered letters, a necklace in ruins.
Mouse pad and my mouse and monitor,
The computer and dad’s old harmonica,
My keyboard just manages to squeeze
Right on the edge, but not with much ease.
If I throw anything out I’ll need it for sure
So the big pile of mess I will have to endure.
