SPIRITUAL MOUNTAINS
In life have you ever climbed a mountain high,
Seen the view and felt you could touch the sky?
Looked all around at the grandeur and beauty,
Left spellbound by all that you could now see.
Although there is peace and loveliness in the valley
And wonderful are the lakes and plains and the sea,
There is a better overall picture from a mountain peak
Looking all around new knowledge for my mind to seek
For those who see a more sweeping and distant view
Come make an effort climb high thats the thing to do,
Struggle to the very top, let nothing stand in the way,
Dont always choose the easy path every single day.
In our spiritual world are the views of lakes and valley fair
Enough for your growth, do we avoid all the mountains there?
That, if we climb to the summit, a spiritual feast beyond compare
Will be waiting for us, there Gods great glory waiting to share.
Struggle through lifes trials with gladness as we climb each hill,
Slowly with much effort and always, with joy obey His will,
We shall reach the spiritual mountain tops and know of His love,
There to view just for a moment, a glimpse of heaven above.
