THOSE BEYOND THE VEIL
Have you ever stopped to think as we spread the gospel far and wide,
And serve in the God’s holy temple to help those who now abide
Beyond the veil, who wait for us to give them the great opportunity
To progress ever onward, now from their bonds are at last set free.

Now what are we doing? We are guiding, showing them the right way,
To find truth and light, able to repent so make more effective that day
The great atoning sacrifice of our Saviour, Jesus Christ the Lord,
They are now forgiven, the purpose that His scared blood poured.

We can help the Master fulfill His calling so pure and so divine,
By finding those who never knew the truth, perfect and sublime,
They have been taught now beyond the grave, now us they need,
So they may come to Christ and on His blessings, like us, feed.

If someone was locked in a closet would we not find the right key?
Search until we found it, even break the door down if need be.
You can imagine how grateful that person would always feel
To you, now those who await above their prison is just as real.

Come and help set them all free, let heaven’s rafters rejoice,
As those who have waited many years are free to make a choice,
More sins repented of, Christ’s suffering for them not in vain,
Think of all the happy gatherings when we shall meet again.
