WORLD OF MAKE-BELIEVE
As children, for most this was an easy thing to do,
Sail on your imagination across the sky of blue,
One moment be a sunbeam shining on a flower,
Then be a tall giant full of strength and power.

As adults we need to have our feet planted on the earth,
But to wander off for a while can be of great worth,
Mundane life can be filled with much more happiness
If we can relax and in fun relieve some of our stress.

Soar in the sky like the eagle on great, mighty wings,
Glance down and then see all of the wonderful things
That live and grow around, feel the wind on your face,
Know as you glide of the eagle’s mighty power and grace.

Be a child again and look for picture clouds way up high,
Castles with a turret, a large mouse running across the sky,
Listen to music and on some new adventure dare to go,
Close your eyes and imagine some magical picture show.

There is something good about make-believe I am sure,
It can make dull things become a grand exciting adventure,
You will be surprised how far music and thoughts carry you,
You have spent no money, but you are refreshed all through.
