More poems about Temple Feelings

NO ILL FEELINGS
There should be no ill feelings in the house of the Lord,
So that His spirit may flow free to understand His word,
Anger for a brother or sister should quickly fade away,
For only love and harmony should in the temple stay.

No animosity should cloud any seeking heart or mind,
But we should feel His love flow and to all be truly kind,
No evil or unkind thoughts in those doors should enter in,
We should strive to protect the temple from outside sin.

He who is without sin may cast the first stone, Jesus said,
So if we judge others, in shame we should bow our head,
Pray we may overcome the pride that within us dwells,
If we cannot hold hands with a person and let love swell.

I know we are human, but in the temple we should strive
To keep the image of the dear Master very much alive,
Please let no ill feelings or anger ever mar the way
From allowing His spirit to bless us as we sincerely pray.
