HEAD HELD HIGH
Oh, how grand the wisdom and how vast the love
Of our dear Father who wants us in heaven above,
Think of the atoning sacrifice of His only begotten Son,
Think of the great battle that Jesus for us willingly won.
Now Samantha, come rejoicing, sweet joy in your heart,
For you have overcome many trials, done your valiant part,
Mistakes are far behind and a wonderful path lies ahead,
Celebrate with great gladness and so be spiritually fed.
Remember after baptism no strangers are ever found,
Only kind brothers and sisters where His love does abound.
As you take this step forward, hold your noble head up high,
You are a daughter of God, He loves you, this is not lie.
Feel His love around you, now look ahead to higher things,
Savor the great joy and love that the Gospel truly brings.
