SOUNDS OF THE SOUL
Filtering through the raucous noise,
a soul soothing sound,
Uplifted, we searched around until at
last we found
The source of that sweet music played
just for me,
A wholesome sound so pleasing that from
stress I was set free,
A man was playing a tsimbaly, a sound Id
not heard before,
Effortlessly the notes he struck or plucked,
we watched with awe,
It was like exquisite bells chiming in tones
delicate and sweet,
Like some notes escaped from heaven to
give us a special treat.
There was hidden background music that
added some magic there,
I wish you could have heard the sound
wafting through the air.
Dulcet tones that played gently upon
ones heart strings,
For the rest of the day my imagination
rushed fast and did bring
Sweet thoughts of peace and gentleness,
a feeling of deep rest,
Come, see what hidden notes await
to awaken in your breast.
