        FLEETING MOMENTS
Driving past beauty, for just in a moment seen,
Can be a treasure and many thoughts I can glean,
Something great for a moment catches the eye,
That stays in the hearts as the days roll quickly by.

A fleeting moment along the path we all tread
Can either give us happiness or fill us with dread,
But fleeting moments of fear I quickly throw away,
Savour the times when a moment makes a better day.

But when in a fleeting moment eternal friends you make,
Friendship that will last forever, but no time it did take,
Just a glimmer of the time ions ago in a far off place,
Was it the voice that was familiar or the smile on the face?

A fleeting moment at church and forever love came through,
A wonderful fleeting moment that most of you too once knew,
Now I have another friend, a face and voice, more than a name,
And one day either here on earth or heaven, we’ll meet again.
