  1. A BUSTED RIGHT HAND
Exercising my wrist with weights my right hand went click
Not just once, more like click, click, click, made me feel sick,
It did not pain too much but by night time it was very sore,
I felt like cutting it off and throwing it through the door.

Then this morning it was swollen, trying to right a pain,
I should go and get it X-rayed some information to gain,
After I have written a line I have to stop, take a little rest,
My writing was never good, would now never pass a test.

Have you ever had to zip a back zipper with teeth and left hand?
Putting a dress on over your head is hard work you understand,
Zipped boots are not too bad you can steady with the other foot,
When you have to go, in pain you wince, struggle, it’s quite a hoot.

Now I have been thinking, on the computer this poem has to go,
It will take me forever, but I can watch the late night show,
But now I’m home from the hospital, my arm in a cast,
I hope that these silly tendons heal well and also very fast.
