SELECTIVE SNOW FALLS
When the snow falls in
great beauty and silent grace,
And it puts a happy
smile on many a young face,
It would be even better
if it selected where it dropped
Its load of all that pretty
white stuff and then stopped,
Or diverted from highways,
sidewalks and driveways,
Just on fields and trees in the
lake and where play
The children on the slopes
and they toboggan all day
And we will be happy for we
dont have to shovel it away,
Not one snow flake to mar the
busy roads and side streets
Not burying cars in driveways
and no snow drifts greets
Us as we go off to
work or shop or drive around
Accidents would be less,
surely fewer hold ups found,
Where can I order some falling
selective sensible snow from?
I am sure if it could happen
a prize for safety would be won
Imagine looking out at a
lovely blanket of white snow
And not worry about your safety
where ever you have to go,
The only drawback at the moment
that I can really see
Schools would not be closed
to set the children free.
