MORE SNOW
Lazily, languidly, loitering, the snow flakes fall,
They hardly seem to make any difference at all,
Yet they are persistent in their lofty descent ,
And landing on other snow which before was sent.
We expect snow in winter it is part of the plan
And we all put up with it the best way we can,
But this year it has seemed more determined
To bury us all, which, to me is not very kind.
The city has already moved away tons of snow,
I think it goes in the lake but I really dont know,
There is still piles of the white stuff left behind,
How many dumping snow places can they find!
Over the day it has covered next doors car
With a fine layer of white, they havent been far,
Our back yard no longer shows tracks or mess,
Although creatures have fed well nevertheless.
Another picture for a card or painting so fair,
As the trees grasp at the snowflakes in the air,
But I must admit a warm sunny beach would do,
To feel warmth again and not be frozen through,
